What is Caller ID?
Caller ID lets you know who's calling before you pick up the phone. The display equipment that is required for Caller ID also lets you see the date, time, and phone number of most direct dialed local and long distance calls.

What is Anonymous Call Rejection?
Anonymous Caller ID Rejection works with Caller ID to automatically stop incoming calls from anonymous callers who have blocked their numbers.

How do I report a problem, or find out the status of my repair?

Do you give or sell my name and number to telemarketers?
No. However, we cannot control telemarketing by companies and agencies associated with Ponderosa Telephone.

What can I do if my long distance provider was changed without knowledge or permission?
If your long distance company has been changed without your authorization you can contact Ponderosa Telephone to get switched back to your original carrier within 90 days and avoid any switching charges.

Who is responsible for repairing my inside telephone wiring?
A per-visit charge may be required if Ponderosa Telephone has to come out to your home or business to locate a service problem that is found within your inside wire or jacks. Repairs to your inside wiring or telephone equipment is a competitive service, and we offer inside wire repair plans for your residence or business.

What are the taxes and surcharges on my telephone bill?
Ponderosa Telephone provides a full explanation to these taxes, fees, and surcharges billing and payment information on the bill. Many municipalities in California have assessed utility taxes. If you have a question concerning the local tax that appears on your bill, contact your city or county office. Also, the federal government collects a 3% excise tax on all telephone charges.
